The 14th Overset Grid Symposium will be held at the University of Maryland at the Clark School of Engineering (Kim Building for 1st Day - Tutorials; Clark Hall for 2nd-4th Day - Presentations). The University of Maryland is located inside the Beltway, but outside of Washington DC, off of Route 1.
A formal evening reception and dinner will be held at the College Park Aviation Museum on Wednesday, October 3rd. The dinner is covered by your registration.
Special Rates ($107/night plus taxes) are being negotiated for the Holiday Inn Express hotel. This hotel has a shuttle bus to the central part of campus, near Stamp Student Union. Please book at this link for the Holdiay Inn Express by 09th September 2018 to get the group rate. The Hotel at the University of Maryland is another option, that is a short walk to the Clark School of Engineering Building as well as within walking distance of the College Park Aviation Museum. Please see the following link for hotels near the University. However, I recommend these two hotels very strongly, especially with the special rate at the Holiday Inn Express. Local Accomodations
The College Park area is served by three airports: BWI Marshall (the closest), Reagan Airport (can take metro to College Park), and Dulles Interational. More information can be found at the linked page.
